#PinkBeetle…#Too Cute

You know you have it going on when you come out the gate with your own hashtag. The 2017 Volkswagen #PinkBeetle steps on the scene with a ready-made social media campaign. Described as Fresh Fuschia, this bug screams personality. Expressive hip-hugging lines, enamoring Bi-Xenon headlights, the right amount chrome and piano black accents paired with cool monograms on the door sills, the #PinkBeetle is a giant amongst its competitors. From that smiling hood and snazzy rear spoiler to the LED taillights and rear license plate lights, the #PinkBeetle has style and class that rivals the most trending icon the scene.

Trust and believe that the #PinkBeetle isn’t just a pretty face, it has substance under the hood as well.  The 1.8 TSI DOHC Turbo 4-Cylinder Direct Injection Engine paired up with 4-Wheel Independent Suspension and Servotronic Electro-Mechanical Power Steering, the #PinkBeetle has power and agility. Driving up the coast to Santa Barbara, this beetle carved its own niche up the 101 on 17″ Alloy Wheels. Great acceleration, fluid gear transitions and impressive giddy-up, the #pinkbeetle whips down the road.

While it handles the road masterfully, the comfort level of the interior proved to be equally exhilarating. From the onset, everything is uber cool inside the #PinkBeetle. Piano Black and Fresh Fuschia accents, Urban Outfitters-esque #PinkBeetle club pink plaid cloth interior, and leather appointments on the steering wheel, brake lever, and shift knob give this car an on-trend vibe.

While it does have a backseat, I preferred the seats folded down for more storage. Filled with so much personality, the #PinkBeetle is on cuteness overload. One of the coolest things about the features of this Beetle thoughtful reminder to check for your cell phone on departure. It actually came in handy on numerous occasions.

Additional tech features that add to the charm and style of the #pinkbeetle include a rearview camera, push button start, 6.3″ Touchscreen AM/FM/HD Radio/CD Player with USB, Aux-In port, Bluetooth Mobile Connectivity, SiriusXM, Cruise Control and Multi-Function Display w/Trip Computer. The VW Car-Net App Connect (Smartphone Integration and Interface) keeps this beetle on track with technology.

Anytime a car is considered to be compact, thoughts of safety come into play. VW eases those concerns with Front Airbag Supplemental Restraint System for Driver and Front Passenger, Head and Thorax Airbags Side Airbags, 3-Point Safety Belts, Intelligent Crash Response System and Anti-Locking Brakes withDisc Brakes.

Who would have thought all this charm and style could be obtained for under $23,000…Volkswagen did!
